A Pulse of Raw Desire
Founded by the Brazilian multidisciplinary artist Glauber, 1-BPM is an intimate study of the male form. The project, that took place in Sao Paulo in 2024, moves beyond simple documentation to explore the tension between strength and softness, capturing the raw details of the body—from sweat and muscle to the quiet power of a gaze. By slowing the viewer's pulse to a singular rhythm, Glauber confronts social taboos and embraces a narrative of self-acceptance. His work serves as a declaration of freedom, inviting us to look closely at desire without shame.
