Cabana (2024)
Curated by
“Beautiful new music” - Gilles Peterson (BBC 6 Music). On Cabana, the non-binary, Brazilian born, Brighton based composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist reconnects, both musically and spiritually, with their native Brazil, having left with their family as a child for the Southern coast of England. A majestic brew of folk, psychedelic music, bossa nova, tropicalia and MPB, Cabana also features field recordings of bird song, water and nature from Lau Ro’s recent travels back to their homeland.
