Rony Hernandes

Rony is a Brazilian photographer based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With a decade of experience, his body of work has a special focus on portraits and creative direction, specially of the black and queer community. Has collaborated with well known local artists like Baco Exu do Blues, the Grammy Award winner, Liniker and many others. He’s been shooting an original series called “Afetos” (“affections”) for a few years, which showcases much of his unique talent for intimate and cinematic photography, surrounded by cultural elements, requiring the viewer to pause and immerse into the evocative message in each image.
