Lebassis: bold letters, loud voices

Rio-based artist Leandro Assis, known professionally as Lebassis, uses bold lettering and vibrant color to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities. Merging the energy of graphic design with the spirit of activism, his work transforms words into playful, visual statements. He focuses on themes of Black culture and LGBTQ+ rights, using his art not just as decoration, but as a tool for communication and protest. By combining heavy, impactful typography with lively illustrations, Assis creates a visual language that is both loud and inviting.
